"Raleigh News & Observer litters streets every Saturday"

Every Saturday, my neighborhood is littered with free copies of the "Durham News", a publication of the Raleigh News & Observer. They wrap the paper in a plastic bag and toss a copy in front of everyone's homes. It's one thing to have to throw out the trash they leave in front of my house. It's another thing to have to walk past each and every day the rotting carcasses of old Durham News editions in front of vacant lots.

I have no statement on the quality of the publication. My issue is with their distribution method. Lots of free publications are out there, but they have kiosks, where one can go and pick up papers at his leisure.
